About the Center for WorkLife Law
The Center for WorkLife Law at University of California Hastings College of the Law has played a central role in reshaping the debates over gender, work, and family. WorkLife Law seeks to jump-start the stalled gender revolution by focusing, at any given time, on a few initiatives that hold the promise of producing concrete social or institutional change within a three-to-five year time frame.
The Center for WorkLife Law has a history of changing the way mainstream media typically covers gender and work-family issues; we do this not only through our own publications, but also by serving as experts for the press.
Our work has been published in Newsweek, Harvard Business Review, For the Defense, The Huffington Post, MomsRising, Psychology Today, Forbes, and Ms. Magazine.
