WorkLife Law is excited to welcome two legal externs to our team: Morgan Gaspar and Jenna Harris.
Morgan Gaspar
Morgan is a J.D. candidate at the University of Virginia School of Law, where she is a Law and Public Service Fellow. Driven by a passion for advancing reproductive rights, Morgan also serves as VP of Programming for UVA Law’s chapter of If/When/How.
Morgan brings a commitment to advancing workers rights, particularly for low wage workers. Morgan’s advocacy is motivated by her background in early childhood care and education where she saw firsthand the economic pressures facing working families and the barriers in the industry that keep workers from advancing their rights.
Morgan received her bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she wrote her senior thesis on unionization in the home-based early childhood education industry.
“I am excited to extern with WorkLife Law because of its comprehensive approach to reproductive justice, including the barriers women face in the workplace. I’m looking forward to learning how to support individual workers who reach out via the hotline, especially during this critical period for reproductive healthcare access.”
Jenna Harris
Jenna is an incoming 2L at UC Law San Francisco and is on the Executive Board for Homeless Legal Services. Prior to law school, Jenna worked at the Eviction Defense Collaborative, an organization that provided defense litigation to tenants facing eviction. Jenna also organized with Causa Justa where she prepared “Know Your Rights” trainings for tenants in both English and Spanish.
“I am excited to contribute to WorkLife’s mission of advancing justice for workers and look forward to working alongside a team dedicated to promoting and shaping legal rights in the workplace.”
