The Hastings Leadership Academy for Women is an executive education course that prepares women law firm partners and in-house counsel to stride confidently to the highest levels of success in their firms and organizations, their communities and the legal profession.
Leadership Academy participants learn skills, strategies and techniques that enable them to assume leadership roles and make their contributions visible, valued, and rewarded. The course curriculum is designed to provide a unique, hands-on learning experience and is taught by distinguished faculty from leading law schools, business schools, corporate legal departments and law practice. Learning is enhanced by opportunities to build a strong network of law firm partners and in-house counsel with leadership aspirations and responsibilities.
Ongoing Support for Participants
A special feature of the Leadership Academy is its ongoing support for participants. Following the course, participants engage in follow-up “check-in” calls throughout the year and a webinar on a leadership topic. Alumnae networks on LinkedIn provide continuing opportunities for networking, discussions and business referrals. And all alumnae are invited to return each year during the Leadership Academy for a special day of advanced programming on leadership and business development, and to join current Leadership Academy participants for social and networking events.
Women who attend the Leadership Academy are the rising stars of the legal profession. The Leadership Academy gives them the tools and confidence they need to realize their leadership ambitions.
